Alejandra Martinez
Speech and Language Therapist / CEO of Bright Minds Therapy Clinic
Alejandra is a certified Speech and Language therapist with more than 7 years of experience. Ale has been trained to work in the rehabilitation of hearing loss by using the Auditory Verbal Method. She obtained her diploma in Educational and Neurodevelopmental Neuropsychology and holds a Master’s Degree in Neuropsychology and Education. She is internationally trained in the PROMPT approach, Talk Tools Level 4 therapy method, and PECS.
Alejandra works with different conditions such as cerebral palsy, syndromes, hearing loss, autism, and speech and language delay.

Soledad Espert
Occupational Therapist / Director of Bright Minds Therapy Clinic
Soledad Espert is an MRI Technician and an Occupational Therapist with more than 7 years of experience. She has done internships in Chile (South America) and received a Master’s Degree in Rehabilitation of the Upper Limb. Sol is a certified Water Therapist and also holds a postgraduate education in Early Intervention and Stimulation.
Sol has experience working with adults and children with developmental disorders such as autism, cerebral palsy, brain damage, Down syndrome, and ADHD. She also provides therapy in water for children with musculoskeletal injuries, motor delay, and sensory difficulties.

Channa Iv
Psychology Graduate / Speech and Language Therapy trained
Channa is a certified psychologist trained by international speech and language therapists to conduct SLT sessions. She obtained a Certificate for Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS) in Singapore, further enhancing her expertise in the field. With over 7 years of experience, Channa specializes in working with children who experience communication difficulties, implementing intensive interaction techniques.
Channa also takes on the role of an educator by conducting short training sessions for parents and schools. She is committed to continuous professional growth and keeps herself up-to-date by attending relevant courses and receiving supervision from senior speech and language therapists.

Charlotte Stokes
Speech and Language Therapist
Charlotte graduated from DeMontfort University in the UK in 2015. Since then, she has worked as a Speech and Language Therapist (SLT) in various settings, including nurseries, schools, and special needs environments. She has extensive experience addressing communication needs such as speech sound delay, language delay/disorder, ADHD, and social communication difficulties. Charlotte specializes in working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and Mental Health needs, with previous experience in a specialist school.
In 2021, she became a UK Registered Intermediary, aiding young individuals in communicating during police interviews and court cross-examinations.

Sophara Neang
Psychology Graduate / Speech and Language Therapist
Sophara is a certified psychologist trained by
international speech and language therapists to
conduct SLT sessions. She has also completed the
Speech Therapy and Swallowing Course at
Pannasastra University. Her qualifications are further
enriched by comprehensive training in Pictures
Exchanges Communication Systems (PECs),
Augmentative and Alternative Communication
(AAC), family therapy, cognitive assessment and
parenting skills.
Over 8 years experiences, Sophara has specialized in
working with children with various needs in speech
and language skills to provide therapeutic
treatment to overcome their difficulties.
Additionally, she has served as a counselor in both
educational and clinical settings, showcasing her
commitment to the well-being and development of
young individuals.

Keilani Paul
Speech and Language Therapist
Keilani earned her Master’s degree in Communication Disorders from the University of Texas at Dallas in 2017. Following the completion of her graduate studies, she embarked on a two-year tenure specializing in pediatric home health.
Keilani has been a dedicated member of the Dallas Independent School District, providing speech therapy services at both elementary and middle school levels for the past four years before coming to Cambodia.

Philiswa Mchunu
Speech and Language Therapist
Philiswa is a Speech and Language Therapist, who graduated in 2018 from the University of KwaZulu Natal, in South Africa. She is registered with the HPCSA to provide speech therapy across a wide range of age groups and contexts.
Philiswa catered to learners with severe to profound cognitive impairment, autism, developmental delays, and other neurodevelopmental disorders. She assessed, diagnosed, and treated communication and feeding difficulties experienced by learners with special needs, Her core responsibility was to support educators in the delivery of the curriculum. Additionally, supports learners to access the curriculum optimally.
She has experience using DIR/floor-time approach, TEACHH method, and Picture Exchange Communication techniques.

Thada Theour
Psychology Graduate / Speech Therapy Provider
Thada is a certified psychologist who has been trained by international speech and language therapists to conduct SLT sessions. He joined Bright Minds in 2021 and has recently completed Auditory Verbal UK training. Thada has valuable experience working with children facing hearing loss, speech delay, and communication difficulties.
He demonstrates a strong commitment to continuous learning and professional development, actively engaging in courses and receiving supervision from senior speech and language therapists.

Sonia Moreno
Occupational Therapist
Sonia is an occupational therapist who graduated from the University of Málaga (Spain) in 2016. She also has received curricular training from Turku University of Applied Sciences (Finland). She has a Master of Science in occupational therapy research from Jönköping University (Sweden).
She has additional training and experience in assistive technology, sensory integration, executive functioning, and neurorehabilitation, amongst other areas. Experienced in working with clients with a variety of neurodevelopmental disorders and learning disabilities, such as dyslexia, autism spectrum disorder, or ADHD. She joined the team in January 2021.

Luisa Gonzalez
Occupational Therapist
Luisa is an occupational therapist from the Universidad del Rosario (Bogotá, Colombia), She specializes in Sensory Integration from the University of Southern California. She also holds a certificate in Visual Therapy from the Autonomous University of the State of Mexico. She is a specialist in the SOS approach to The Feeding and has a Diploma in Inclusive Education and Interculturality.
Luisa brings over 12 years of invaluable experience in consulting and accompaniment of educational processes, child and adolescent development, and favorable environments for learning.
In 2021, she became a UK Registered Intermediary, aiding young individuals in communicating during police interviews and court cross-examinations.

Clàudia Gonzàlvez
Occupational Therapist
Clàudia is an occupational therapist from Spain. She completed her degree in occupational therapy at Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona and went on to pursue a master’s degree in Madrid, specializing in neuromotor control.
During her studies, Clàudia gained valuable experience working with children at a specialized center in Belgium, focusing on rare diseases and assisting kids with ADHD, autism, Down syndrome, and genetic anomalies. Afterward, she transitioned into the field of neurorehabilitation, where she worked passionately with adults and specialized in orthopedics.
Her dedication to helping individuals of all ages and backgrounds has made her an invaluable asset to the healthcare community.

Molisa Sok
Psychology Graduate / Occupational Therapy Provider
Lisa is an occupational therapist and a certified psychologist who graduated from the Royal University of Phnom Penh. She started working with children with neurodevelopmental disorders in 2019. She joined Bright Minds in October 2021. She has received a Certificate in Child Development (From a Motor, Sensory, and Social-Emotional Perspective).
Lisa is passionate about helping children and adolescents develop their physical functioning, life skills, and social skills while considering their needs and emotional well-being. Currently, she conducts occupational therapy sessions under qualified therapists’ supervision.

Ava Ruiz
Occupational Therapist
Ava is a graduate of Toulouse University in France, holding a degree in Occupational Therapy. She brings an artistic dimension to her approach with a dance diploma and experience in art therapy. She has also demonstrated her commitment to humanitarian efforts through a project in Katmandou, Nepal, expanding access to occupational therapy services for marginalized populations and schools.
Ava has completed internships in adult rehabilitation and socio-professional reintegration, with a focus on brain injuries and musculoskeletal issues. Her expertise extends to working with children facing neurodevelopmental disorders such as cerebral palsy, autism, ADHD, as well as learning and psychiatric conditions, both in specialized and mainstream educational settings.

Penhbormey SAM EL
Educational Psychologist
Bormey is a certified psychologist with a Master’s in Educational Psychology and Counseling from Thailand. With over five years of professional experience, she specializes in working with children and adolescents experiencing learning difficulties, developmental disabilities, and emotional regulation issues. Bormey is adept at conducting psychoeducational assessments, utilizing a range of standardized tools to evaluate cognitive, academic, and emotional functioning.
Bormey has facilitated workshops on mental health and stress management and conducted parenting workshops in international schools. She is also experienced in developing and implementing individualized intervention plans and collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals to support the holistic development of her clients.

Puthy Choraney Sangva
Behavioral Therapist
Choraney is a certified psychologist, having earned her degree from the Royal University of Phnom Penh. She has received a certificate in CBT, Behavior, Sensorimotor, and Self-Regulation for children and adolescents.
Her profound commitment to enhancing the lives of children shines through her extensive experience as a behavioral therapist in clinical and school settings.
Choraney is dedicated to continuously improving her skills though ongoing courses, ensuring that she stays up-to-date in her field.

Richhany Rith
Behavioral Therapist
Richhany is a certified psychologist from the Royal University of Phnom Penh. Her professional journey has been dedicated to the specialized care of children with neurodevelopmental disorders, a commitment she has upheld since 2019, including her three-year tenure at KCPS Counseling and Psycho-Education Services, within both school and clinical environments.
Her dedication to this mission is exemplified by her current role as a behavioral therapist, trained by experts at Bright Minds. Continuously striving for excellence, she actively engages in ongoing courses to further develop her skills and knowledge in her field.

Guechyou Chhun
Therapist Assistant
Guechyou is a recent psychology graduate from the Royal University of Phnom Penh. Her dedication to mental health and professional development is evident through her volunteer work as a data collector at TPO Cambodia and her specialized training in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) conducted by Save The Children Cambodia.
Presently, she is undergoing training with senior therapists at Bright Minds, where she is diligently honing her skills and exploring her passion for providing therapy to children.

Daniela Eriksson
Psychologist
MA in Psychology, Daniela, was trained in child psychology at the University of Barcelona, Spain. She obtained her Bachelor of Psychology from the Pontifical University of São Paulo, Brazil.
As a psychologist, she has more than 10 years of experience in providing counseling/psychotherapy, assessment and training in Brazil, Spain, Mozambique, Sweden and Cambodia.
Dani is passionate about working with clients with mental health problems and offers her clients her care through individual, family and group therapy.
Her efforts and dedication in social initiatives have been focused on providing mental healthcare for families and advocating for mental health. Coupled with the development of treatment, these activities, have served as the basis in recording empirical material for research in the field of qualitative improvements of psychological therapy.
